Peace At Last is gentle adventure story about a daddy bear looking for a quiet place to sleep aimed at children aged up to six. Mrs Bear’s snoring and the sounds in the house and garden keep him awake, and when he finally gets back into bed and falls asleep, the alarm goes off…but he starts the day with a smile anyway.
Our first performance, an adaptation of Jill Murphy’s Peace At Last, took place in the hall at Leytonstone Library on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd November 2012. The play was restaged on Sunday 13 September 2015 as part of the official re-opening of Leytonstone Library. It was also performed on Tuesday 29 December 2015.
